Lucía Bárcena is a researcher at the Transnational Institute (TNI). She is specialized in the trade and investment agenda of the European Union and the international investment regime. At TNI she coordinates trade and investment projects, doing research and analysis, campaigning and network facilitation. In recent years she has focused on the Energy Charter Treaty, and EU trade policy with Latin American countries, in particular Mexico and Chile.
