Johnson Ching-Yin Yeung is a Hong Kong
human rights defender, He is Regional Campaigner at the
Clean Clothes Campaign, a global network dedicated to improving working conditions and empowering workers in the global garment and sportswear industries. He is Chairperson of the
Amnesty International Hong Kong, and have been active in transnational solidarity movement #MilkTeaAlliance.
He is former convenor of the now disbanded
Civil Human Rights Front, a major pro-democracy civil society alliance that advocate advancement of democracy and human rights. He was a Freedom Fellow at the Human Rights Foundation, and Programme Associate at Human Rights in China (HRIC).
He holds a Master of Laws in Human Rights from the
University of Hong Kong, and focus his research on NGOs and civil society development under repressive societies.
